Finnish Glass Biennale 2025
Finnish Glass Biennale is international glass industry biennale, to be held every other year. The biennale will be held in Riihimäki for the first time from 5–8 June 2025.
The producer of the Biennale is Luovi Productions, the founder and producer of Helsinki Design Week and Fiskars Village Art & Design Biennale, in collaboration with the Finnish Glass Museum and the City of Riihimäki.
The programme of the Finnish Glass Biennale includes a professional seminar, expert visits, exhibitions of Finnish art glass, and Satellite Events produced in collaboration with the local creative community in Riihimäki as well as in Iittala and Nuutajärvi, which are also known for their art glass.
The Open call for Finnish Glass Biennale programme is on until 16 February 2025. Finnish Glass Biennale will take place 5–8 June 2025. The programme will be launched on 19 March 2025. The week starts with Tapio Wirkkala's birthday on 2 June 2025 and there is a preliminary program for the week of events throughout the beginning of the week.
